Heads of Agreement to Research Medical Cannabis.
Plant-based health and wellbeing company Affinity Energy and Health Limited (“the Company” or
“AEB”) (ASX: AEB) is pleased to announce the execution of a non-binding Heads of Agreement
(“HOA”) with St John of God Health Care Inc, an incorporated association with limited liability
trading as St John of God Subiaco Hospital (SJGHC) to support Medical Cannabis research and
development activities.
Under the 2 year HOA, AEB and SJGHC will collaborate to identify and undertake research projects and
the development of medicinal cannabis products. Established in 1898, St John of God Subiaco Hospital
(SJG Subiaco) is a world-class private hospital with a long and enviable track record of undertaking
research to deliver effective, evidence-based care. With 578 beds and around 900 highly qualified
medical practioners, the hospital provides a wide range of medical and specialty services. SJG
Subiaco’s focus on research and medical excellence makes it an obvious partner for AEB’s new
research projects related to the pioneering area of medical cannabis.
No commercial or financial terms have been detailed in the HOA as these will be determined as project
programs and projects are defined.
