Good ASX Re-listing for Solco
After a six months break, the restructured Solco had a good re-entry to ASX with its shares opening at 1.7 cents and within a week rising to a high of 4 cents. The capital raising that enabled the restructure was at 2 cents per share so the new investors and the old investors who supported the entitlement offer are ahead and have hope that the company will perform.
The new Solco is a different business to the old Solco. The back door listing of the Go Group has seen Solco go from a solar energy and water pumping business to a group of businesses offering energy efficiency and energy retailing services.
The main ones are GO energy, CO2markets, GOquote and CO2Global.
- Go energy is a retailer of clean energy.
- CO2markets, as agent with the Clean Energy Regulator and a certificate provider under the NSW Energy Savings Scheme, assists clients to monetize their environmental certificates through two trading platforms.
- GOquote supports CO2markets customers with the generation of online leads for solar retailers and installers.
- CO2Global provides procurement, quality control and quality assurance services for solar and energy efficiency companies, and it also develops PV, LED and energy storage products under a "white label" for downstream clients.
