Blue Planet will be taking  a new initiative in the Fall of 2011 by not only being a supplier of new technology to food producers but will  become a food producer using its own technology and products.  In September of 2011 Blue Planet will begin to construct its first commercial hydroponic and aquaponic  greenhouse at Stonebridge Farm to provide produce and fish to food distributors, wholesalers and retailers in the North Eastern U.S. This will be a model for future greenhouse developments in both the U.S. and Canada. The company strongly believes that this new vertical model for growth will give Blue Planet greater visibility, recognition, and profitability.
